A.C.E. is a niche dating and social community app that aims to serve the specific needs of the asexual community. Unlike traditional dating apps, which often emphasize sexual or romantic connections, A.C.E. is tailored to users who are looking for relationships without the pressure of sexual or romantic involvement and strives to be a place where asexuals can feel safe, experience comfort, solidarity, and a sense of belonging. To edit your profile go to the profile tab in the lower right corner. Next to your photo, select ‘edit your profile’.

While in the profile tab, select the cogwheel (settings icon) in the top right corner. The first setting you will see is ‘incognito mode’. Turning this feature on will hide your profile from others until you like them. Keep in mind this is a premium (paid) feature.

While in the profile tab, select the cogwheel (settings icon) in the top right corner. Then scroll all the way down until you see ‘delete account at the bottom.

In the bottom menu, select ‘ favorite’ to see who favorited you vice versa.

Since we only allow memberships being paid through the Google Play and App Store, canceling your membership is also done through the App Store or Google Play Store (depending on which one you’ve used to start your membership). Meaning you don’t cancel within the app. Deleting your app will also not automatically cancel your membership. You need to cancel it through the App Store or the Google Play Store.

When in your profile tab, you can view the plans. You can select your plan here. Alternatively, if you go to the cogwheel (settings icon) in the top right corner, you will see the option to then upgrade your membership - if you’re on the free membership at this time.

With the free membership you can look around and see if there’s interesting people in your specified area. You can view their profile and send a like. If you both like eachother you will be a match and you can message one another. However, you get limited likes in the free membership. In the paid membership you get everything the free membership gets, plus unlimited likes, you also get to see the list of people who like you, access to the advanced search filters, incognito mode and you’re able to see if messages have been read.

In the bottom menu, select ‘ favorite’ to see who favorited you vice versa.

You can like someone in the discovery page by clicking the heart icon over their profile or alternatively, you can like them when you’re viewing their profile by clicking the ‘like’ button.

When you like someone and they like you back, you’ll get a match notification. You can also check the ‘who likes me’ section and like people back who have liked you, in order to get a match. Once you’re matched, you can find your matches in your ‘Chats’ tab in the very top. You can then select them to start messaging them. How do I un-match with someone? There’s two ways you can un-match with someone. By going to their profile (click their photo in the chat) and scroll to the bottom and select ‘un-match’. The other way is by going into your chat with them and clicking the 3 red dots in the top right corner. There you can also select un-match. Please keep in mind that when you do, the chat will also be removed from your chats and deleted.

When you like someone and they like you back, you’ll get a match notification. Once you’re matched, you can find your matches in your ‘Chats’ tab in the very top. You can then select them to start messaging them.

Open a chat with someone. On the left side of your text input field, you’ll see an icon that indicates an image. Click this to open the different options. You can select a recent photo or select the camera roll, in order to open all your photos and albums.

In the bottom left corner of your screen you’ll find the ‘Discovery’ page. Here is where you’ll find all members. You can use the many different filters to narrow down your search.

The basic filters give you access to the basics. This means you get to filter on age, location, gender, asexual and romantic orientation and whether they are looking for friendship or a relationship. In the advanced filters you can filter through many different things, such as if they are sex averse, sex favorable, romance averse or romance favorable, neutral, et cetera. You can also filter on interests, if they want kids or not, smoking, drinking, religion, working out, zodiac sign and many, many more!

When you’re on the discovery page, you’ll find the filter icon in the top right corner. Once you click this, you’ll be able to select filters in the basic and advanced filter tabs. Once you’re done applying any filters you want in the basic filter screen, they automatically apply. For the advanced filters you have to click on ‘apply filters’ at the bottom of the screen to apply them.

A.C.E. is a platform strictly for adults aged 18 and over. If you suspect that a user is underage or misrepresenting their age, we urge you to report them immediately. Your report helps us protect the integrity of our community and ensure a safe space for everyone. Here’s what you can do: 1. Report the profile directly in the Discovery page: Click their suspected profile. Select “Block and report” Choose “Underage” as the reason Submit your report — it’s quick, anonymous, and reviewed by our Safety Team 2. Block the user (optional) If you’re uncomfortable, you can block the user immediately to stop any further contact. 3. Reach out to our Support Team (if needed) If you have any concerns or details that can help us investigate, feel free to contact us here and include the username or any relevant screenshots. All reports are handled seriously and confidentially. If a user is confirmed to be underage, their account will be removed immediately. In line with U.S. law, we report any confirmed instances of child sexual exploitation or underage activity to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities. Go to their profile and scroll to the bottom to block (and/or report) someone. Alternatively, when you already have a chat with them, you can open the chat and click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the chat to block and/or report someone.
